The scriptures read are Micah 7, Psalm 123 and Mark 1.
Micah 7. Micah starts out feeling pretty low. And it's because of his fellow human beings. But he doesn't give up. He knows God's punishment will not last. He sees the exiles and refugees returning. He knows God's forgiveness and mercy. God will be true to his promises.
Psalm 123. Here's a simple Celtic arrangement of this psalm.
